AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Ninety Thousand
Dollars ($90,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the General Services
Agreement - Sewer Design (FY2013) Contract B (11780) throughout the District, and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 20027 with Vance
Engineering, Inc. for aforesaid sewer design services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13579, adopted March 14, 2013, appropriated the
initial funding and authorized Contract No. 20027, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the General Services
Agreement - Sewer Design (FY2013) Contract B (11780) throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 1 of Contract No. 20027 with Vance Engineering, Inc. for General Services Agreement -
Sewer Design (FY2013) Contract B (11780) for Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00), and
shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
