AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00)
from the Wastewater Emergency Fund to be used for construction costs for emergency sewer
repairs in the Emergency Repair #052 (Chesterfield Commons Pump Station No. 4, P-810)
(12669) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20323 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., for the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Wastewater Emergency Fund for emergency sewer repairs in the
Emergency Repair #052 (Chesterfield Commons Pump Station No. 4, P-810) (12669) in the City
of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20323 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., for emergency sewer repairs in the Emergency
Repair #052 (Chesterfield Commons Pump Station No. 4, P-810) (12669) in the City of
Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
