AN ORDINANCE, appointing McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. the
insurance broker of record for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for a period of one (1)
year, effective October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, with four (4) additional one-year
renewal terms at the option of the District, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District to enter into a contract with McGriff, Seibels & Williams of
Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. will serve as the District's
broker of record and provide other services for the District's insurance program.
WHEREAS, the staff has received and evaluated proposals from insurance
brokerage firms to act as the District's broker of record and to provide other services for the
District's insurance program, and
WHEREAS, based on the Request for Proposal process, the staff has
recommended the selection of McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. is hereby appointed
the insurance broker of record for The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for a period of one
(1) year, effective October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, and the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of the District to enter into a contract with
McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Missouri, Inc. whereby McGriff, Seibels & Williams of
Missouri, Inc. will provide brokerage and other related services for the District's insurance
program.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for a term of one (1) year with four (4) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of
the District at fees not to exceed Sixty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($67,500.00) per
year, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of
the General Counsel.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted September 10, 2015.
