AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Five Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($2,570,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
rehabilitation in Bissell - Coldwater - Missouri - Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2016)
Contract E (11923) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20293 with Insituform Technologies USA,
LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Four
Hundred Eleven Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-Three and 55/100 Dollars ($2,411,653.55) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty-Eight
Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Six and 45/100 Dollars ($158,346.45); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($2,570,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
rehabilitation in Bissell - Coldwater - Missouri - Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2016)
Contract E (11923) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20293 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for
sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Bissell - Coldwater - Missouri - Meramec Public I/I Reduction
(2016) Contract E (11923) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 30th day of July 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
