AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
($290,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Raleigh Drive #8829 Storm Sewer (11338) in
the Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20308 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Thirty-
Seven Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars ($237,628.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifty-Two Thousand Three Hundred
Seventy-Two Dollars ($52,372.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($290,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek for storm sewer construction in Raleigh Drive #8829 Storm Sewer (11338) in the
Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
20308 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm
sewer construction in Raleigh Drive #8829 Storm Sewer (11338) in the Town of Grantwood
Village, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of August 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 8, 2015.
