HomeMy Public PortalAbout14264ORDINANCE NO. 14264 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Regional Justice Information Service Commission (REJIS), whereby the entities agree that REJIS shall provide data center colocation services to the District. These services will include physical hosting and operation of the District’s computing hardware and software within the REJIS Data Center facility. WHEREAS, the Charter of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District empowers the District to contract with municipalities, districts, other public agencies, individuals, or private corporations, or any of them whether within or without the District, for the construction, use, or performance of any service required by the District, and for the connection with and use of the facilities of the District, and WHEREAS, said Intergovernmental Agreement will enhance the District’s current computing operation and contribute to the future reliability and sustainability of the District’s critical computing infrastructure and business applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with REJIS whereby the entities agree to the provision of data center colocation services by REJIS; said agreement shall provide for a fee not to exceed One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Intergovernmental Agreement authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
