AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Three Thousand Dollars
($103,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek and One Million Four Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Dollars
($1,477,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in
Florland Sanitary Relief Phase I- I/I Reduction (11749) in the Cities of Hazelwood and
Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20332 with Fred M. Luth
& Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for private I/I removal is One Million Four Hundred Forty-
Seven Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($1,447,395.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand Six
Hundred Five Dollars ($132,605.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Three Thousand Dollars ($103,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek and One Million Four Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Dollars
($1,477,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I
removal in Florland Sanitary Relief Phase I- I/I Reduction (11749) in the Cities of Hazelwood
and Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20332 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I
removal in Florland Sanitary Relief Phase I- I/I Reduction (11749) in the Cities of Hazelwood
and Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 29th day of September 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 10, 2015.
