HomeMy Public PortalAbout14273ORDINANCE NO. 14273 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2016) (12061) in the Cities of Crestwood, Sunset Hills, Webster Groves, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20307 with In situform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Four Million Three Hundred Ten Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars ($4,310,384.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Eighty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($189,616.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2016) (12061) in the Cities of Crestwood, Sunset Hills, Webster Groves, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20307 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2016) (12061) in the Cities of Crestwood, Sunset Hills, Webster Groves, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 24th day of September 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 10, 2015.
