AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($570,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Bissell
Point I/I Reduction (BP-619) (Valley Dr) (11686) in the Cities of Riverview, Bellefontaine
Neighbors, St. Louis, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract No. 20343 with ABNA Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid private
I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Four Hundred Ninety-One
Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Dollars ($491,280.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Dollars
($78,720.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($570,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Bissell
Point I/I Reduction (BP-619) (Valley Dr) (11686) in the Cities of Riverview, Bellefontaine
Neighbors, St. Louis, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20343 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Bissell Point I/I Reduction (BP-619) (Valley Dr) (11686) in the Cities of Riverview,
Bellefontaine Neighbors, St. Louis, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received on the 2nd day of October 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 10, 2015.
