AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-One Thousand Dollars ($51,000.00) from
the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be
used for channel stabilization in Frostwood Park Streambank Stabilization (10362) in the City of
Berkeley, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20331 with Ideal Landscape
Group for the aforesaid channel stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Forty-Five Thousand Five
Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($45,555.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is Five Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Five Dollars ($5,445.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-One Thousand Dollars ($51,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek for channel stabilization in Frostwood Park Streambank Stabilization (10362)
in the City of Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20331 with Ideal Landscape Group, as the lowest responsible bidder for channel
stabilization in Frostwood Park Streambank Stabilization (10362) in the City of Berkeley,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 22nd day of September 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
