AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Two Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($4,270,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Forestwood Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-321) (10440) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20357 with Pavement
Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Three Million Seven
Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand One Hundred Forty-Three and 10/100 Dollars ($3,755,143.10)
and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Five Hundred
Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Six and 90/100 Dollars ($514,856.90); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($4,270,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in Forestwood Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-321) (10440) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20357 with Pavement Solutions, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Forestwood Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-321) (10440) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 10th day of November 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
