AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($2,120,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two Million Four Hundred
Ten Thousand Dollars ($2,410,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I
removal in Rosemary, Philo, & Kathleen Sewer Separation (10748) in the Village of Wilbur Park
and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20361 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction
and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is
Four Million Two Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Six Hundred Forty-One Dollars
($4,221,641.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is
Three Hundred Eight Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars ($308,359.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($2,120,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and the sum of Two
Million Four Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($2,410,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for sanitary
sewer construction and private I/I removal in Rosemary, Philo, & Kathleen Sewer Separation
(10748) in the Village of Wilbur Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20361 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary
sewer construction and private I/I removal in Rosemary, Philo, & Kathleen Sewer Separation
(10748) in the Village of Wilbur Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant
to bids received on the 20th day of November 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on February 11, 2016.
