AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for rainfall data gathering and
analysis in Radar Rainfall Data (FY2014) (11702) throughout the District; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 20111 with Vieux and Associates, Inc.
for rainfall data gathering and analysis.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13767, adopted January 9, 2014, appropriated initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 20111; and
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
this one-year renewal term, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRIC T:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund for rainfall data gathering and analysis in Radar
Rainfall Data (FY2014) (11702) throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 1 to Contract No. 20111 with Vieux and Associates, Inc., for rainfall data gathering and
analysis for One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) and shall be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
