AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Four Million Five
Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($4,540,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two
Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for
construction management services in Construction Management Services –
Tank/Treatment/Pump Station Facilities (11151) in various locations within the District; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20100 with Kennedy Associates/Architects, Inc. for
construction management services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13751, adopted December 12, 2013, appropriated
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20100; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Five Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($4,540,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two Hundred
Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for
construction management services in Construction Management Services –
Tank/Treatment/Pump Station Facilities (11151) in various locations within the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20100
with Kennedy Associates/Architects, Inc., for construction management services for Four
Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,800,000.00) and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
