AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20366 with
KJU dba KJ Unnerstall Construction Co. for storm sewer construction and private I/I removal in
Cella- Rolling Rock- Glen Creek I/I Reduction (PIR) Storm Sewer (12468) in the City of Ladue,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13486, adopted September 27, 2012, and Ordinance
No. 13649, adopted August 8, 2013, appropriated initial funding for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20366 with KJU dba KJ Unnerstall Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for
storm sewer construction and private I/I removal in Cella- Rolling Rock- Glen Creek I/I
Reduction (PIR) Storm Sewer (12468) in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
on the 1st day of December 2015.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed the combined sum of Eighty-Four Thousand Dollars ($84,000.00)
and Two Hundred Six Thousand Dollars ($206,000.00) and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on February 11, 2016.
