AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($835,400.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
sewer construction in Chandellay Dr. Sanitary Sewer Replacement (11009) in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20333 with Kolb
Grading, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Seven Hundred Sixty-
Seven Thousand Forty-Four and 25/100 Dollars ($767,044.25) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred
Fifty-Five and 75/100 Dollars ($68,355.75); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($835,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary
sewer construction in Chandellay Dr. Sanitary Sewer Replacement (11009) in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20333 with Kolb Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Chandellay Dr. Sanitary Sewer Replacement (11009) in Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 25th day of November 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on February 11, 2016.
