HomeMy Public PortalAbout14317 Lemay Pump Stations 1 and 2 Improvements (Procurement Part 1) (12488)ORDINANCE NO. 14317 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the equipment procurement in Lemay Pump Stations 1 and 2 Improvements (Procurement Part 1) (12488) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20386 with FlowServe Corporation for the aforesaid procurement. WHEREAS, the bid for the improvements is Seven Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Four Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($776,416.00) and the allowance for other project expenses is Twenty Three Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars ($23,584.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the equipment procurement in Lemay Pump Stations 1 and 2 Improvements (Procurement Part 1) (12488) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20386 with FlowServe Corporation, as the lowest responsible bidder for project costs for the equipment procurement in Lemay Pump Stations 1 and 2 Improvements (Procurement Part 1) (12488) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on February 11, 2016.
