AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($700,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Paddock
Creek I/I Reduction (Private) (11696) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20384 with Wehmeyer
Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Five Hundred Seventy-Six
Thousand Forty-Six Dollars ($576,046.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is One Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Four
Dollars ($123,954.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Paddock
Creek I/I Reduction (Private) (11696) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20384 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Paddock Creek I/I Reduction (Private) (11696) in the City of Florissant and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of January 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on March 10, 2016.
