Home My Public Portal About14335 Herbert Ave 4200-4400 Block Streambank Stabilization (11020)ORDINANCE NO. 14335 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Herbert Ave. 4200-4400 Block Streambank Stabilization (11020) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20379 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is One Hundred Seventy-One Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($171,168.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($38,832.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for channel stabilization in Herbert Ave. 4200-4400 Block Streambank Stabilization (11020) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20379 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Herbert Ave. 4200-4400 Block Streambank Stabilization (11020) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 29th day of December 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on March 10, 2016.
