AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Twelve Thousand
Dollars ($12,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station
improvements in Valley Park/Grand Glaize Diversion & Pump Station (10787) in the City of
Valley Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10977 with XL Contracting,
Inc. for pump station improvements.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13473, adopted September 27, 2012, appropriated
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10977; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in
Valley Park/Grand Glaize Diversion & Pump Station (10787) in the City of Valley Park,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10977
with XL Contracting, Inc., for pump station improvements for Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00) and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
