HomeMy Public PortalAbout14356 Bissell and Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920)ORDINANCE NO. 14356 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for wastewater treatment plant construction in Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920) in Unincorporated St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20236 with Contegra Construction Company, LLC for wastewater treatment plant construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14083, adopted April 9, 2015, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20236; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for wastewater treatment plant construction in Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920) in Unincorporated St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20236 with Contegra Construction Company, LLC, for wastewater treatment plant construction in Bissell & Lemay WWTP Incinerator Scrubber Replacement (11920) in Unincorporated St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 12, 2016.
