HomeMy Public PortalAbout14357 Infrastructure Repair 087P Caluks Creek A (P 750) Phase VI (10656)ORDINANCE NO. 14357 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek A (P-750) Phase VI (10656) in the Cities of Chesterfield and Maryland Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20272 with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14095, adopted June 11, 2015, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20272; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek A (P-750) Phase VI (10656) in the Cities of Chesterfield and Maryland Heights, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20272 with Bates Utility Company, Inc., for sanitary sewer construction in Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek A (P-750) Phase VI (10656) in the Cities of Chesterfield and Maryland Heights, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 12, 2016.
