AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Bissell
Hills Sanitary Relief/Calumet I/I Reduction (BP-317) Part 2 (11685) in the Village of Riverview,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20380 with Taylormade
Construction Co., LLC for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Two Hundred Eight Thousand
Seven Hundred Seventy-One Dollars ($208,771.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Forty-One Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Nine Dollars
($41,229.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Bissell Hills
Sanitary Relief/Calumet I/I Reduction (BP-317) Part 2 (11685) in the Village of Riverview,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20380 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for private
I/I removal in Bissell Hills Sanitary Relief/Calumet I/I Reduction (BP-317) Part 2 (11685) in the
Village of Riverview, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 10th day of March 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 12, 2016.
