HomeMy Public PortalAbout14367 Anchor Dr and Dana Ave Strom Sewer (11367)ORDINANCE NO. 14367 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($245,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Anchor Dr. and Dana Ave. Storm Sewer (11367) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20410 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars ($169,667.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Five Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Three Dollars ($75,333.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($245,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Anchor Dr. and Dana Ave. Storm Sewer (11367) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20410 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Anchor Dr. and Dana Ave. Storm Sewer (11367) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 18th day of March 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 12, 2016.
