AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for easement acquisition, property
acquisition, demolition and related activities of real property for construction of a sanitary sewer
storage facility and associated structures in 82nd Street to I-170 Sanitary Relief (UR-08, UR-09)
Property Acquisition (11993) in the City of University City, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to acquire property without additional board action.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for easement acquisition, property
acquisition, demolition and related activities of real property for construction of a sanitary sewer
storage facility and associated structures in 82nd Street to I-170 Sanitary Relief (UR-08, UR-09)
Property Acquisition (11993) in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate funds for
easement acquisition, property acquisition, demolition and related activities of real property for
construction of a sanitary sewer storage facility and associated structures in 82nd Street to I-170
Sanitary Relief (UR-08, UR-09) Property Acquisition (11993) in the City of University City,
Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 9, 2016.
