AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars
($136,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek and Two Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($239,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Marietta Dr Storm Separation and I/I
Reduction (BP-292) Part 2 (11659) in the City of Normandy, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract No. 20418 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I
removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Two Hundred Ninety-Five
Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($295,650.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars
($79,350.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars
($136,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek and the sum of Two Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars
($239,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private
I/I removal in Marietta Dr Storm Separation and I/I Reduction (BP-292) Part 2 (11659) in the
City of Normandy, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20418 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Marietta Dr Storm Separation and I/I Reduction (BP-292) Part 2 (11659) in the City of
Normandy, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of April 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 9, 2016.
