HomeMy Public PortalAbout14396 FEMA Public Assistance Consulting ServicesORDINANCE NO. 14396 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the payment not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the General Insurance Fund to be used to provide consulting services for grant management and compliance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Missouri Emergency Management Agency Assistance Regulations for the Fenton, Grand Glaize, and Missouri River Treatment Plants, and various pump stations and collection system sites in the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with CDR Maguire to perform said consulting services. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby authorized from the General Insurance Fund to obtain consulting services for grant management and compliance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Missouri Emergency Management Agency Assistance Regulations for the Fenton, Grand Glaize, and Missouri River Treatment Plants, and various pump stations and collection system sites in the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with CDR Maguire to perform Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Missouri Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance Consulting Services for the Fenton, Grand Glaize, and Missouri River Treatment Plants, and various pump stations and collection system sites in the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area, and shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 9, 2016.
