Home My Public Portal About14402 North Baden Creek II Reduction (BP 532) (Winchester Dr) Part 2 (11693)ORDINANCE NO. 14402 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($2,175,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for storm sewer construction and private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-532) (Winchester Dr) Part 2 (11693) in the Cities of Normandy, Northwoods, and Pasadena Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20428 with L. Keeley Construction Company for the aforesaid private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is One Million Nine Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Eighteen and 09/100 Dollars ($1,998,418.09) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Seventy- Six Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-One and 91/100 Dollars ($176,581.91); and WHEREAS, this is the second phase of the project to remove private I/I from additional homes and construct necessary storm sewers; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($2,175,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for storm sewer construction and private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-532) (Winchester Dr) Part 2 (11693) in the Cities of Normandy, Northwoods, and Pasadena Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20428 with L. Keeley Construction Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction and private I/I removal in North Baden Creek I/I Reduction (BP-532) (Winchester Dr) Part 2 (11693) in the Cities of Normandy, Northwoods, and Pasadena Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 18th day of May 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on July 14, 2016.
