HomeMy Public PortalAbout14461 Lower Black Creek and Hampton Creek Sanitary Relief (Deer Creek Trunk to Oxford Dr) Phase I (12334)ORDINANCE NO. 14461 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pre-design in Lower Black Creek and Hampton Creek Sanitary Relief (Deer Creek Trunk to Oxford Dr) Phase I (12334) in the Cities of Brentwood, Maplewood, Clayton, and Richmond Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202 with HDR Engineering, Inc., for the aforesaid design services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13969, adopted October 9, 2014, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20202; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pre-design in Lower Black Creek and Hampton Creek Sanitary Relief (Deer Creek Trunk to Oxford Dr) Phase I (12334) in the Cities of Brentwood, Maplewood, Clayton, and Richmond Heights, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for pre-design in Lower Black Creek and Hampton Creek Sanitary Relief (Deer Creek Trunk to Oxford Dr) Phase I (12334) in the Cities of Brentwood, Maplewood, Clayton, and Richmond Heights, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 11, 2016.
