AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20406 with
Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of storm sewers in Pershing Ave 5500 - 5600
Blocks Storm Sewer (IR) (12627) in the City of St. Louis Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14136, adopted August 13, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for this storm sewer construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20406 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of storm sewers in Pershing Ave
5500 - 5600 Blocks Storm Sewer (IR) (12627) in the City of St. Louis Missouri pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 28th day of June 2016.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed One Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Dollars ($177,000.00)
and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the
General Counsel.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
