HomeMy Public PortalAbout14488 Landmark Office Pump Station (P 411) Replacement (12324)ORDINANCE NO. 14488 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Landmark Office Pump Station (P-411) Replacement (12324) in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20441 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Four Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Dollars ($423,720.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Six Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Dollars ($36,280.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Landmark Office Pump Station (P-411) Replacement (12324) in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20441 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Landmark Office Pump Station (P-411) Replacement (12324) in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of July 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
