HomeMy Public PortalAbout14489 LMRDP CSO Storage Tunnel (Broadway to RDP Tubes) (11820)ORDINANCE NO. 14489 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities of real property and easements for the construction of a sanitary tunnel and associated structures in LMRDP CSO Storage Tunnel (Broadway to RDP Tubes) (11820) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire necessary property rights in order to construct a sanitary tunnel and associated structures without additional Board action. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities of real property and easements for the construction of a sanitary tunnel and associated structures in LMRDP CSO Storage Tunnel (Broadway to RDP Tubes) (11820) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire property without additional Board action for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities of real property and easements for the construction of a sanitary tunnel and associated structures in LMRDP CSO Storage Tunnel (Broadway to RDP Tubes) (11820) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
