HomeMy Public PortalAbout14493 Williams Blvd Anistasia Dr Storm sewer (11183)ORDINANCE NO. 14493 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($380,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Williams Blvd – Anistasia Dr. Storm Sewer (11183) in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20442 with Gershenson Construction Co. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Thirty- Eight Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Two and 95/100 Dollars ($338,482.95) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-One Thousand Five Hundred Seventeen and 05/100 Dollars ($41,517.05); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($380,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek for storm sewer construction in Williams Blvd – Anistasia Dr. Storm Sewer (11183) in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20442 with Gershenson Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Williams Blvd – Anistasia Dr. Storm Sewer (11183) in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 20th day of July 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
