AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a change order for Two
Hundred Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($214,100.00) from the General Fund to the
original contract with Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. for professional services needed for
rate model support, development of storm water funding and credit policy recommendations,
storm water outreach and communications services and the preparation of the feasibility study
needed for the issuance of District bonds.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13382, adopted March 8, 2012, authorized the
original contract with Raftelis Financial Consultants Inc., and
WHEREAS, Resolution 3270, adopted April 14, 2016 allowed staff to exercise
the 4th of four (4) option years for professional services with Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc.;
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer, on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, are hereby authorized to enter into a change order for Two
Hundred Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($214,100.00) from the General Fund to the
original contract with Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. for rate model support, development of
storm water funding and credit policy recommendations, storm water outreach and
communications services and the preparation of the feasibility study needed for the issuance of
District bonds.
Section Two. The change order authorized in Section One shall be comprised of
such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
