AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20456 with
Gaehle Grading, LLC for private I/I removal in St. Marie Sanitary Relief I/I Reduction (PIR)
Storm Sewer (12606) in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13486, adopted September 27, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for Private Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program (FY2013)(11877), and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14209, adopted September 10, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for Stormwater Infrastructure Repair/Replacement - Fountain Creek OMCI
(12610).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20456 with Gaehle Grading, LLC for private I/I removal in St. Marie Sanitary Relief I/I
Reduction (PIR) Storm Sewer (12606) in the City of Florissant, Missouri pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 16th day of August 2016.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed Thirty-One Thousand Dollars ($31,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek and Fifty- Nine Thousand
Dollars ($59,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2016.
