AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Thirty Million
Dollars ($30,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for combined sewer
construction in Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to
Church Dr) (11656) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate
additional funds for Contract No. 20375 with SAK/Goodwin Joint Venture for combined sewer
construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14364, adopted May 12, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20375; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty Million Dollars ($30,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for combined sewer construction in
Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to Church Dr)
(11656) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for Contract No. 20375 with SAK/Goodwin Joint Venture for combined construction in Maline
Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Chain of Rocks Dr to Church Dr) (11656) in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2016.
