AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20454 with
Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for storm sewer construction in Larkin Lane 24 Storm Sewer
Replacement (IR) (11985) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13650, adopted August 8, 2013, appropriated the
funding for Stormwater Infrastructure Repair/Replacement – Gravois Creek OMCI (11843), and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14420, adopted August 11, 2016, appropriated the
funding for Stormwater Infrastructure Repair/Replacement – Districtwide (2017) (12672).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20454 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for storm sewer construction in Larkin Lane 24 Storm
Sewer Replacement (IR) (11985) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 11th day of August 2016.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed Eighty-One Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Three Dollars
($81,273.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund and One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand
Seven Hundred Twenty-Seven Dollars ($158,727.00) from the Operation, Maintenance,
Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2016.
