AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Riverside and Yarnell Sanitary Relief – Forensic Testing (12789) in the City of
Fenton, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14470, adopted July 14, 2016, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 20486; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Riverside and
Yarnell Sanitary Relief – Forensic Testing (12789) in the City of Fenton, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20486 with the
Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., for sanitary sewer construction in Riverside and Yarnell
Sanitary Relief – Forensic Testing (12789) in the City of Fenton, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 15th day of August 2016.; said contract being comprised of such
terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 15, 2016.
