AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for flow meter and monitoring in Flow
Metering and Monitoring (2017) (12759) in the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service
Area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20477 with ADS Environmental
Services for the aforesaid flow meter and monitoring.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for flow meter and monitoring in
Flow Metering and Monitoring (2017) (12759) in the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
Service Area.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20477 with ADS Environmental Services for flow meter and monitoring in Flow Metering
and Monitoring (2017) (12759) in the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Service Area, with
said contract renewable for up to four (4) additional years.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2016.
