AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($575,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for public and private I/I removal
in Concordia I/I Reduction (NE Quad Clayton Rd and Big Bend Blvd) (11964) in the City of
Clayton, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20443 with ABNA
Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid public and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said public and private I/I removal is Five Hundred
Thirty-Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($533,800.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Forty-One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars
($41,200.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($575,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for public and private
I/I removal in Concordia I/I Reduction (NE Quad Clayton Rd and Big Bend Blvd) (11964) in the
City of Clayton, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20443 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for public and private
I/I removal in Concordia I/I Reduction (NE Quad Clayton Rd and Big Bend Blvd) (11964) in the
City of Clayton, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of September 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2016.
