HomeMy Public PortalAbout14536 Tealwood Drive and Beaver Drive Bank Stabilization (11222)ORDINANCE NO. 14536 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($615,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Tealwood Drive and Beaver Drive Bank Stabilization (11222) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20475 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Five Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($565,368.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($49,632.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($615,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for storm sewer construction in Tealwood Drive and Beaver Drive Bank Stabilization (11222) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20475 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Tealwood Drive and Beaver Drive Bank Stabilization (11222) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of September 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2016.
