AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design in Cityshed Mitigation Program
Design (Contract A) (12693) in the Cities of Flordell Hills and Jennings, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20496 with Jacobs Engineering Group Inc.
for the aforesaid design services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design in Cityshed Mitigation
Program Design (Contract A) (12693) in the Cities of Flordell Hills and Jennings, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20496 with Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., for design in Cityshed Mitigation Program
Design (Contract A) (12693) in the Cities of Flordell Hills and Jennings, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2016.
