HomeMy Public PortalAbout14539 Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (11731) (supplemental)ORDINANCE NO. 14539 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (Design Supplemental) (11731) in the Cities of Brentwood, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Maplewood, and Webster Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10733 with the Parsons Water & Infrastructure, Inc. for the aforesaid design services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13366 adopted February 9, 2012, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10733; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (Design Supplemental) (11731) in the Cities of Brentwood, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Maplewood, and Webster Groves, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10733 with the Parsons Water & Infrastructure, Inc. for design in Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel (Clayton Rd to RDP) (Design Supplemental) (11731) in the Cities of Brentwood, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Maplewood, and Webster Groves, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2016.
