AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition,
demolition, and related activities of real property and easements for the construction of a wet
weather storage facility and associated structures in Ferguson Sanitary Sewer (Olive to Page)
(Diamond Park) (11737) in the City of University City, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
acquire necessary property rights in order to construct a wet weather storage facility and
associated structures without additional Board action.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property acquisition,
demolition, and related activities of real property and easements for the construction of a wet
weather storage facility and associated structures in Ferguson Sanitary Sewer (Olive to Page)
(Diamond Park) (11737) in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire property without
additional Board action for property acquisition, demolition, and related activities of real
property and easements for the construction of a wet weather storage facility and associated
structures in Ferguson Sanitary Sewer (Olive to Page) (Diamond Park) (11737) in the City of
University City, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
