AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
($430,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Picardy Lane Subdivision Bank Stabilization
(11196) in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
20491 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Three Hundred Eighty-Five
Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars ($385,383.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Four Thousand Six Hundred
Seventeen Dollars ($44,617.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek for channel stabilization in Picardy Lane Subdivision Bank Stabilization (11196) in
the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20491 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel
stabilization in Picardy Lane Subdivision Bank Stabilization (11196) in the City of Ladue,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 13th day of October 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
