AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($625,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for cost sharing for storm sewer
construction in Emerling – Evans Drainage Improvements (10241) in the City of Cool Valley,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under
Contract No. 20524 with the City of Cool Valley, Missouri to provide financial assistance for
storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($625,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for cost sharing for
storm sewer construction in Emerling – Evans Drainage Improvements (10241) in the City of
Cool Valley, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 20524 with the City of Cool Valley, Missouri
to provide financial assistance for storm sewer construction.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately
upon its enactment.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2017.
