AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($120,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in
Lake Valley Dr Storm Sewer Replacement (12535) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20465 with Wehmeyer Farms,
Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Ninety-Nine Thousand
Eight Hundred Ten Dollars ($99,810.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is Twenty Thousand One Hundred Ninety Dollars ($20,190.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in
Lake Valley Dr Storm Sewer Replacement (12535) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20465 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder storm sewer
construction in Lake Valley Dr Storm Sewer Replacement (12535) in Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 9th day of November 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2017.
