AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20494 with
ABNA Engineering, Inc. for storm sewer construction in Creekhaven Drive 12371 Storm Sewer
Improvements (IR) (12533) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13442, adopted August 9, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for Stormwater Infrastructure Repair/Replacement in Deer Creek; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14419, adopted August 11, 2016, appropriated
supplemental funding for Stormwater Infrastructure Repair/Replacement in Deer Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20494 with ABNA Engineering, Inc. for storm sewer construction in Creekhaven Drive
12371 Storm Sewer Improvements (IR) (12533) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 10th day of November 2016.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Deer Creek and shall be comprised of
such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2017.
