AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general surveying
services in General Services Agreement – Survey Services (2016) Contract C (12395) in various
locations within the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract
No. 20372 with The Sterling Company for the aforesaid general surveying services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14284, adopted December 10, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20372; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for general surveying services in General
Services Agreement – Survey Services (2016) Contract C (12395) in various locations within the
District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract No. 20372 with The Sterling Company for general surveying services in General
Services Agreement – Survey Services (2016) Contract C (12395) in various locations within the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2017.
