AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($1,320,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal
and storm sewer construction in Pardee – Blackthorn – Holly I/I Reduction (Watson Rd and S
Rock Hill Rd) (11989) in the Cities of Webster Groves, Crestwood, and Unincorporated St.
Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20519 with
Unnerstall Contracting Co., LTD for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer
construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal and storm sewer construction is
One Million One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars
($1,199,167.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is
One Hundred Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Three Dollars ($120,833.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($1,320,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I
removal and storm sewer construction in Pardee – Blackthorn – Holly I/I Reduction (Watson Rd
and S Rock Hill Rd) (11989) in the Cities of Webster Groves, Crestwood, and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20519 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., LTD, as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I
removal and storm sewer construction in Pardee – Blackthorn – Holly I/I Reduction (Watson Rd
and S Rock Hill Rd) (11989) in the Cities of Webster Groves, Crestwood, and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 8th day of December 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 9, 2017.
